So I finally got my telephoto that I've been looking at. I originally ordered it from a local business, but it was taking ages to arrive. Future Shop managed to match their price and I saved $80 on my Nikkor 55-300mm telephoto. It takes amazing pictures (so far, I haven't been out yet to take any really good ones). Can't wait to expand my photography with this new lens :)

Yea, I haven't updated this in awhile... Photography has been dull throughout the winter, I haven't brought my camera out in ages. Now that spring is almost here and summer is rolling around, I should have some new material up in the next few months, hopefully get some more views on my page as well. I have to go finish Mother's Day shopping, so I'll finish it off here :)

So it's November 16th and we have encountered our first heavy snowfall of the year. It began snowing and blizzarding last night, and there's about 3 inches of sticky wet snow on the ground. Obviously this makes driving treacherous, especially when it freezes. Many people don't realize that they have to adjust their driving in these conditions. All I can hope for is a white Christmas. The snow and ice should make for some interesting photographs, but I'm completely inexperienced when it comes to taking winter photos.
